It was abandoned on the corner of Irving and 4th in the Inner Sunset. For three days, I walked past this cut tree covered in fake snow. The smell and the texture of the falling needles reminded me of very intimate pasts. I adopted this tree and took it to Ocean Beach in San Francisco, where the seascape points to the sublime.
